DJ DARREN C
I am a DJ specialising in R&B/Hip Hop and Urban music and am looking for new venues and possible residencies.
Djing has taken me all over the UK and Europe to Copenhagen, Ibiza and Prague and playing in landmark clubs such as Ministry of Sound, Embassy, Pangaea and the Global Room at Pacha where I have built up loyal fan bases. As well as sharing the turntables with DJ talents such as Trevor Nelson, Woody, Ace and Invinsible, DJ Spoony, Nihal and Vernon Kay.
I would describe my style as unique and memorable, which creates a huge energy and great rapport with any crowd playing FOR the people and not AT them.
My love of music has led me into radio where I am currently working in music production on BBC 1Xtra on Hip Hop shows such as DJ Semtex, Rodney P and Skitz and Blakey, and have previously worked as part of production teams at Radio 1 on shows such as Trevor Nelson, DJ Spoony and JK & Joel as well as part time DJ/Music consultant at retail emporiums in central London such as Selfridges and House of Fraser.
